The important topic for today is subcultures!

There are many in England, but today it is the day for Christianity, Buddhism and Hinduism. 
Christianity is a monotheistic religion, which sacred writtings are in the bible; they represent the quarter to a third of world´s population. The important of them is that they believe that Jesus prophiesed in the old testament ( a part of the sacred writtings). 
Buddhism comes from Nepal, their collection is called the Tripitaka, they do not believe in any specific type of God. However, they believe in many religious rituals, beliefs and customs. Important practices for them are meditation and acting out. 
Hinduism has its origins in the Indus Valley where actually is Pakistan and India, they are considered to be a polytheistic religion. They belief in the unity of everything. All things are measured by Karma. The sacred writtings are The Vedas, The Upanishads, The Mahabharata, The Ramayana.
